There are like no 360 fans on this forum... or if there, they are all to busy complaining that Ubi is making casual low budget wii games.

Anyway, some of the stuff shown at Ubidays looked great, especially HAWX and End War.

Only about 2 more weeks before I join the 360 club

You'll enjoy it, trust me. I'm glad I have a 360. What games do you plan on getting?

Ace Combat 6, Mass Effect, gears of War, Lost Odyssey. That should keep me busy until Infinite Undiscovery in September

Good choices. If you have a fairly strong PC, I would recommend Mass Effect for the PC. The controls are a lot better, and all the failings in the 360 version are gone.

If not, the 360 version is still a great game.

My PC is quite weak, and I don't really like playing games with it. I really like the look of ME, even though I don't quite understand what it is. It seems to me that it is a TPS, but it has RPG stuff behind the scenes (so your attacks do do a number of damage, but you don't see those numbers) and other RPG elements

Mass Effect is an enormous, story-driven game that affords you a great deal of choice in how you go about completing the story.  There are many different paths for you to choose and some of these have a genuine effect on how the story progresses.  You can choose which people are members of your squad and how to upgrade their abilities.  You can choose what weapons, armour, items and abilities both your character and your squad members have available.  All of this is managed through a system that requires you to earn money to finance your purchases.

Mass Effect also has literally the best, deepest and most involved dialogue system I have ever seen in the game.  I can't remember the statistics, but there is an ungodly amount of cinematic conversation in the game that you will actually WANT to listen too (though you can skip it if you wish).

The games combat system is TPS, but it is very much a Western RPG.

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

No, there isnt a choice. Youll go for the alien side boob scene automatically. ;)

Haha.  It was all regular human loving for me

On the first play-through at least.........

Thanks, I have looked at a few reviews, and although it has been confusing me a bit, it does look incredible, and I have wanted to play a sci-fi RPG for ages, especially after Star Ocean 3 tricked me.... Anyway, I am really looking forward to getting this in 16 days!!!

I just read this in a Itagaki-san interview at kikizo.com

Kikizo: Can you comment on the overall size of the game versus the original?

Itagaki: I think realistically it's probably about fifteen hours of playtime. But IU think that we've got enough in there with enough incentive to make you want to replay at least one more time.

So with 15 hours for 1 playthrough is a good length.
