It was a late generation game, so it's not as if Team ICO had special keys to the PS2 house that no one else had. Remember that ICO wasn't quite as expansive as SotC. I think they could make a good looking game but I'm not heaping huges expectations on them in that department. I just hope they make another innovative game, that is enough to ask as it is.
I give that post a 9.4.
Thank god for the disable signatures option.
i would love to see a ps3 version filling out the bluray in hd.
also online only monsters that can only be taken down in co-op <----------- that would be great
...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...
A while back, I had an idea of what SotC would be like if it was on the Wii. I knew that would never happen, but in wishfully thinking about it I came up with this:
"Even though this won't ever happen, I think Shadows of the Colossus would work well on the Wii. You move with the nunchuck, you grab things with Z or B. You jump with A and access the start menu with plus. It might be a hassle to switch weapons with the pad, but you can use that (there are only 2 weapons). You use the Wii Remote to aim with the arrow on-screen. You plunge the Wii Remote down physically to stab. You dodge roll by moving with the analog and holding C."

One of the best games ever. Possible SotC2(with HD graphs ) will be must buy for me.
He's good, but some of the stuff he is doing is questionable.
We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke
It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...." Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
The game's opening music is one of the best pieces of music that i ever heard,
did anyone feel sad when hearing it ? or is it just me ?

OT: Sotc really was on the limits of the PS2 but the game still looked amazing, one of the best on the console! I do hope that the new game for the PS3 will make use of the dev tools that unlock the PS3's power, the game needs to be great
