The 1st goal was not offside. Our commentator just said that Panucci was laying behind the goal line (a player behind the goal line overrules offside) and that's why the Dutch goal is correct.


Funny.

A player outside of the lines is NOT part of the game.

That is why, when there's a corner that gets headed away, some players stay behind the goalline, because that eliminates the threat of being offside.

It was offside, plain and simple.

If you don't believe that, go check up on the rules.

That doesn't matter one bit. A player outside of the lines is not part of the game, therefore offside. Plain and simple.

 Yes it matters (they just told it at VT4 not sure you are watching it on VT4).
