Sorry this took me a few days to get to but I am a Videogame addict and love my pastime so anytime I can talk about it or get others into it Iam all for it!
I clean carpets for a living and go into about 5 homes a day 6 days a week Ya I need a vacation!
Last Saturday I went to a repeat customers house I've been doing for about 6 years I talked to the Father for a while about real estate and went to work cleaning! He the customer has 2 kids and 18 year old girl and a 16 year old son.
As I got to the Living room I noticed the tv had a gamecube hooked up to it and the son was online doing something dad was out mowing the lawn so I asked when are you getting a Wii??????
The kid said my dad will never pay that much for a videogame system and he was saving up his money to get one! So I said are you gonna get Wii fit too??? He said yes. Then his dad came in so I said why didnt you get a Wii yet???
He said his son had a gamecube and asked him how long ago he got it 6 years ago his son said.
I said I got a wii and my wife and kids love it cause it gets them off the couch and I go on to say we got wii fit and its great to.
The Father follows me as Iam workong so the son is out of my sight at this point, I go to explain all the benefits of the wii the activity and involvement! The Father says my son needs excercise he's always sitting around doing nothing.
Then I explain Tiger Woods golf Wii Sports bowling and the mechanics of the wiimote the Father is pumped he says to his son look for a Wii now we should get one.
I said to the father If you get it you will be the worlds greatest dad.
So at this point I call my local gamestop I have the number memmorized and asked do you guys have any Wii's???
The dude on the phone says ya we got 30 so I go to the dad and say up the street a mile away they got the wii in stock you should go now before it sells out!
He says to his son I'll pay half lets go the kid say I dont have that much the dad says bring what you have Ill pay the rest.
at this point I say you could trade that gamecube in but save the controllers for brawl.
I could only imagine how geeked the kid was at this point. The daughter come out and says you wont play it and you shouldnt get it!!!!!!!!! you'll be bored in a few weeks the kid say no I wont.
Iam like shut the HELL up I just sold dad hard. When I go back in a few months I'll see if they got it Iam sure they did!
Official Wii Pimp I can see the kid going to school ya get your carpets cleaned by Sam and have him sell your parents he's awesome.
