That computer by no means can handle Crysis with all features on.

Well then please educate me, I've played Crysis with all features on with less. But if you know a better way to do it for $600 then please write it up and replace my well intentioned but obviously flawed effort and I'll go back to running a $3 million imaging lab ashamed at my ignorance.

i have 2 year old pc with pentium 4 processor and 7600gt and i can run oblivion fine on mid-high, i just intalled mass effect on it and i could run it on medium the only game i cant run on my pc is assassins creed damn daul core requirement. its always good to buy mid range stuff that can last 3 years then upgrade

Wii/Mario Kart Wii Code:2793-0686-5434

I will call him tomorrow and get the specs. But I know for a fact it is more powerful that the computer you described. He built it himself and it cost him at least $1500. And tabsina do not go by what the guys in this forum have told you. Google it, and find a respectable source.

And what kinda shit you got in your lab if you can make these badass computers for $600.

And when did he buy this pc?
@ Grampy I know a better and cheaper way to max it.

Of course it's going to cost more lol. It's not like the parts stay the same price. There is something called a price drop, and they happen like every 2 months for pc components.

^I am very skeptical of your claims. My brother has a dual core, dual gpu, 2gb Ram, water cooled, system that was struggling to run the game on the highest of settings.

It's hard to believe that anyone even makes a system that requires water cooling and then has only 2GB of ram.

Tell him if he spent $75 bucks on 4GB of gaming grade ram instead of water cooling and neon lights he might be able to do better.

I'll take 2x Ram over 4x the clock speed any day

In fact, after reading your article again, I get the feeling your 'lab' might be New Egg. Just a feeling though.

Like I said I am not sure what his exact specs are. And if a game needs 4 GB of Ram to run well, the developers are obviously sloppy and lazy as hell.

"It’s a lot of work, there’s a fairly high failure rate" - My father builds PCs all the time and has never had one fail on him.  And from what he says, it is not a lot of work, maybe takes longer to install all the drivers than it is to put the pc together.
