Like I said I am not sure what his exact specs are. And if a game needs 4 GB of Ram to run well, the developers are obviously sloppy and lazy as hell.
"It’s a lot of work, there’s a fairly high failure rate" - My father builds PCs all the time and has never had one fail on him. And from what he says, it is not a lot of work, maybe takes longer to install all the drivers than it is to put the pc together.
