Forums - General Discussion - What do you think of the US?

Good country, decent democratic process, very solid economy backbone, very competitive market place. fast pace work environment.

kinda low in education standard, people aren't as friendly, but heck, nobody is perfect.

I'd give it 8.5/10

Yes, I'm from Canada.

lol, that must be a Canadian thing.

All over the world Americans are known as friendly, no matter the hate towards USA as a super-power. Yes, Americans are also regarded as loud-mouths, big braggers,  having enormous self-confidence and whatnot, but they're indeed known as friendly people.

Too much to list.

Greatest nation in the world, no contest.

And I bet the provinces hated Rome too.

I could generalize in a lot of ways, both good and bad. It's a "free country" grown to big and powerful for its own souvereignity. It is a hybrid between a super religious traditional society and a highly developed metropolitan state. A bearer of a very "interesting" development as well as an "evil empire of truth" - having great influence and hegemony in - and often over - the international institutions.

Well you went to Texas and Florida... that would explain it.  I mean florida is full of old people, and people who have to deal with old people.  You'd be cranky too.

While Texas is full of people that moved in to mexico, then declared independence with the sole intention of joining the US.

I'm from the US. I love it, theres opportunity for everyone here. Like every country it has its ups and downs. Leadership hasn't been there for years and foreign policy needs improvement but what can ya do, time will change that. I love my country and support her 100%. PS. I like Canadians haha someone said many Americans don't know about Canadians but I like you guys.
