Recently my job of 2 years sold up and I was left unemployeed, then I got a new job at a Thai restaurant, I stayed there for 2 weeks and left because the owner (co-owner) was underpaying staff and stealing tips, and also filling up branded alcohol bottles with bad cheap stuff, when I left I gave bugger-all notice (which is fine seeing as I was never on a contract and was only there for 2 weeks), I just told the Chef (other co-owner) that the chef was an awesome cook and I'll work you in the future if you ever happen to get rid of the other co-owner, which the chef is trying to do because he knows he's a crook,
So then I get a phone call from the A-hole co-owner and he leaves a voice message saying go and get the best lawyer I can get because he's sueing me,
What for I really don't know, but probably something to do with him being upset that I caught him out as a crook, I never spread the word of his horrible deeds, but just discussed them with the chef when the chef would have a bitch about him.
I really have no idea what grounds I could be sued for.
He's just angry he lost a good employee.
