I liked MGS3 (though you obviously didn't care for it). All that bothered me about the game was the controls, which they fixed for MGS4.

Whether Kojima goes MGS2 or MGS3 with this game doesn't matter... I just want to play it and judge for myself. To make sure I keep an open mind about it, I'm not reading a single review before I play it. I want to guarantee subjectivity for my editorial, which will be about 1/2 MGS, 1/2 "other games". Which end of the spectrum MGS ends up on is entirely in Kojima's hands.

 Lol, you better abandon the internet on June 4 because that's when the strategy guide will be releasing. The internet will be full of major spoilers as far as the eyes can see.

Though apparently a reviewer who obtained a promo stock of game will be leaking information and providing screenshots in 3 hours on the gamefaqs boards so we might not have to wait til the 4th to start packing...

I never considered MGS purely a stealth game like say;Splinter Cell.MGS is more of an action,stealth,shooter.imo anyway. There's stealth in the game,but you can also go around shooting everyone,also.MGS4 seems to take upon what MGS3 did,and make the shooting and the stealth hand in hand.You should at least try it.You'll like the series more for the story anyway.=)

Dude it's GamePro. Let's wait to see what real reviews have to say (although I'm sure they're, by coincidence, actually right).

Both Munkeh and starcraft do not like stealth games. Well I do not like RPG's, so no Final Fantasy games for me. Everyone has different tastes and opinions. It would suck if everyone liked the same games.

but you can play MGS without stealth...thats the best thing about it
