Forums - Nintendo Discussion - how come Legend of Zelda games timeline are connected in the first place?

Theres no logic to that. Anyway, I already played Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess its a good game the graphics arent left to desired even for a gamecube game though.

As for the topic, for one thing, Link was a different person on this game than in other games he is on, the story was different and theres no background in other games before it. Its just different

Its like final fantasy games, same characters/theme, different story. The funny thing is fans of Zelda still want to figure out whats the connection of the stories be, even AVGN and gametrailers wants to connect the story even the games have no connection whatsoever. So the twilight consume all hyrule except for Zelda and Link is the one who can stop the twilight on consuming all over Hyrule. So whats the connection of this to ocarina of time? To Majora's mask? Where the ocarina? Wheres the time travel? Why Zelda dont know who Link is?

Well, I think people think it's connected because of the whole stories at the beginning of pretty much all the games being all, legendary hero of time back in the day saved the world and stuff :3

It's actually pretty hard to say if they're connected or not in anyway unless nintendo tells us^^; That's what I think anyway ; ; I try not to worry too much about connections.

Nintendo already stated the games are connected. Nobody knows the actual timeline though. The only agreement between every one is the the minish cap came first.

Did they already state that? I guess I'm just out of the loop. That's why everyone tries to figure it out I suppose :3

I guess that's your answer on why yushire. Like I said, I probably wouldn't worry about it too much. It'll be interesting when they pull it all together.

If the games are connected, Ninty should make the proper timeline right now, just like they did with Metroid, but as I can see, theres no official timeline Ninty given yet.

 and that majora's mask happened after ocarina of time.  also, I belive, tp is supposed to happen a couple hundred years after those two.

I think they might want to wait a little until things are less confusing by making more games.

They say there is an official time line and they have it as a top secret file on a computer. They just haven't released it and I don't think they ever will.
