I decided to read a thread on one of the links off Malstroms site and found one where Pachter responded himself I guess, hopeing I could see more of his arguement (where he attacked the writer personally, which is fair as the author attacked him personally - however  they Pachter showed his inability to further or conclude the arguement.

I just found this little gem of a post somewhere in the middle.  I think this is the only response that gave me a deep LOL.

He's a pretty cool guy. Sure, he gets stuff wrong but this is a hard industry to predict accurately.

I will never understand the forum hate for the guy.

I mean, when all the employees at your job are laughing at one man and he isn't a clown by trade or comedian... that's just funny.

 I do. Back in 2005, he said Revolution would have 22% market share. It's three years later, 2008, "Revolution" has 45.4% market share.

He did however accurately predict that PS3 would eventually win out over 360.
