Good cartoons (they are shown on ARTE here with subtitles), but in my opinion far away from the quality of the original comic books. Spirou & Fantasio is one of my all-time favourite comic book series - especially those created by André "Gaston" Franquin).

Ah, the FrancoBelgian bandes dessinées.

So many great classics from both ends of the world: Funnies & Adventure (Dupuis, Casterman, Dargaud et al.) and SF/Abstract (Métal Hurlant/Humanoids).

 I think there are two or more cartoons about Spirou because I saw one a dutch channel and that looked very modern.

I am surprised that they send the cartoon in Germany with subtitles ^^''.

I prefer the comics of almost every serie I only like also the Kid Paddle cartoon (don't know it is aired in Germany).

Sadly the comic industry is slowly dying over here (probably because Internet, video games are more interesting for the youth now).
