There has been everything but a FF7 sequel. A movie, many spin-offs. I think a sequel just wouldn't be super relevant if they already had Advent Children, Dirge of Cerebrus, Crisis Core, the mobile phone games, etc.
I logged in 135+ hours on FF7 with like 9000 battles and I could never beat the freak show underwater w/ the 20 minute timer. If they did create a remake, I would need to raise a Chocobo, and get Knights of The Round Table the second I have access to the world map to beat it.

No. And it's really easier than many people think to say why this theory fails. Because this theory implies, that if Sephiroth hadn't come across the library in the Shinra Mansion, he still would have had that 'change of heart' or actually change of identity and character, that he had after reading all those books in the basement. Cause Jenova would have at some point taken over control of him anyway, if she was still that powerfull, as that theory claims. But the game never gives the slightest hint to that.

dude SaviorX, you sure you had fought 9000 battles? and you still didn't have Knights of the Round? then what they hell did you do all that time? it's hard to imagine after so much battles and game experience you were still not able to beat Emerald.. and didn't have KotR.. 9000 battles is such an extremely high amount of battles, that you should have even had maxed all the stats of the remaining 8 characters.. maybe you are confused with 900?

The area in midgar between the save point and the playground with the pipes where you fight the evil houses that try to jump on you.
I hated that area the first time I played the game because one pipe didn't scream out to me that I could walk on it so I kept trying to operate the crane but getting frustrated because it didn't seem to do anything.
There were a few other areas but that one sticks out the most to me. If anything, FF7's biggest problem for me was separating out interactive scenary from non-interative scenery. There were times where I'd walk by switches or levers because I didn't know I could use them. There were other times where I'd be running along clicking buttons hoping that something happened when I was really looking at scenery.
After about 4 or 5 playthroughs, I know where everything is now and what everything does... but that first playthrough had some frustrating moments.
I would love to have a sequel or remake of this game.
I never played this game before, but watching Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and hearing about the game, over the gaming community. It's making me really want to fork $90 over Ebay or amazon to get this game!!!
I must own FFVII seriously!!!
I know exactly know what you mean, first time I played that part I also walked by that pipe, but that's got nothing to do with 'crappy ghraphics' as Montana claims.. and it's so minor in the graphical grandness of FFVII that starting about something as minor as that is really searching for things to complain about.. and what switches are you talking about? and click buttons? I know it might be hard to recall now, but this is really insignificant as I have ever heard complains about the game..

no sequel, don't you think square is milking FF7 to death already? A remake would be ok though.
And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.
Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive
I really can't think of any hard to find switches or click buttons actually right now... and then you guys probably really hated Lufia II, where you actually had puzzles and abilities to use to get further in dungeons..
