Screw a FF VII remake! Why not a sequel?

I would love to have a sequel or remake of this game.

I never played this game before, but watching Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and hearing about the game, over the gaming community. It's making me really want to fork $90 over Ebay or amazon to get this game!!!

I must own FFVII seriously!!!
