 hmmm, pretty much have no interest in Live action. the anime itself was perfect in almost every way.... if I have to pick, it's that they kinda foreshadowed a bit too much in the beginning. (not ruining anything for anybody

 

Still, a MUCH watch if you are a fan of anime.

What a great film. Definitely one of the best, if not THE best animes films ever.

Agreed! One hell of a film indeed. People that dismiss animation as an inept medium for story-telling should take a gander at this film. A classic in my book, and I'm glad to see so many here enjoyed it as well.

Go watch it people.

Great Movie.

I would have been nice to have seen it done at 24 fps though. Maybe one day it will get digitally remastered and they will add some tweens.

It's really a great film.

I saw it 7-8 years ago, and bought the "collector" version of the DVD as soon as it came out a couple of years after. But, I have yet to find the guts to actually play the DVD and watch the film a second time .
