well this thread is coming along nicly as usual

bottom line is, that 360 fans thought gaiden 2 will be a killer app and has turned out to be just a normal good game

The way I see it is after a certain point you can just clump the titles into on category "shit" Shadowrun was shit just like Haze and Lair. I start classifying that point right after 70%

Maybe if reviewers actually used the grading system correctly then it wouldn't be after 70. but in todays reviews 70 is considered a bad game.

Less PS3 comparisons and more NG2 discussion guys. We don't need this thread to turn into a shit storm of flame wars. Either way, the overall reception of NG2 seems to be good, though i have never really seen so many references to bad camera before. Like i said , I hope it isn't as bad as they made it out to be.
As for games being AAA material. A "AAA" game can be measured by many means, critical acclaim, sales, and personal preference.

Ninja Gaiden is a masterpiece, it just it was on the Xbox which didn't have the installed base or the demographics to make it a bigger seller. It also was a hell of a hard game, specially for the new era of n00bs that began playing games when infinite continues/checkpoints/teddy bear difficulty modes a.ka. "normal" began to appear.

I totally agree, but I just used it as an example. IF it were a 70% and it still had the grade diff. of 8-13%, one would be considered shit and the other wouldn't.  One game came alot closer to not being shit though.

Anyway, I consider 70% good, which is why i'm glad viking got a 70% av. rating.

So far avg. is 8. (not good if the scores go down over time trend keeps up with this game)

Why does game reactor have 2 different scores?

And I think there is a misspelling in the video gamer one. fuild I think is suppose to be fluid.

It is only the first one that counts it is not always two reviews. Often it is when they disagree with each other or have to much free time they have second opinion.
