It appears so. Could be on the information end rather than the Team Xbox end though. Still, I'm not exactly a big believer in the credibility of Team Xbox anymore, lol.

That said, their review is of the PAL build. It is pretty likely that if what Team Xbox said was true, the Region 1 build is different than the PAL retail release. No way to confirm that till I play it though. :P

Either way, I'm sure one of the contributors, as well as myself, will come back with a review soon after the games released in the states.

Either way, the game looks good. Not AAA goty material to be sure, but its still getting positive reviews across the board, and if the biggest complaints are the same complaints from the original Xbox release, aka, Camera/Framerate, I think I'm going to be very pleased.

game is still recieving positive reviews, so at least you can call it a good game.

mabey it could have done with a small install, so smoothen things out

At least it isn't getting reviews putting it in the same league as Haze...

8 average is not bad for a pure hard core game with the difficulty that this one is known for. Devil May Cry 4 averaged 8.3 ish...

Well, to be honest I read reviews of the original Ninja Gaiden (and Black) for the first time not so long ago (long after finishing and mastering -ahem- both games) and the recurrent complaints about the camera really surprised me. While I agree there are certain stages where the camera makes it hard to play (the first example that instantly comes to my mind is going your way up the rock ledges with the zombie archers knocking you all the way back, in the underground of the monastery) most of the awkward angles happen when you fight close to walls, which many times is a good strategy against some enemies and bosses (including both Dokku fights -at least that's how I always fight him-) but overall, the R trigger was your friend if you'd be willing to use it to relocate the camera behind your back just as much as you use the other trigger to block! It really was not a big deal for me, and I spent more than 100 hours playing these games.
