Frankly i's a pathetic amount of players. I was so expecting at least 10 v 10 this time. Resistance 2 manages perfect team/squad management. And the player limit is 60. What is Epic's or Microsoft's server problems? |
eheh, they're no server problems.
This comes back to the whole "PS3 fanboys just don't get it" problem... Its not the fancy water graphics, or the 60fps, or the 1080p resolution, or 30vs30 deathmatches.
It's about gameplay, fun and curbstopping your friends into the ground.
If my buddy is on a team of 30, then I can go whole matches without ever even seing him. But make the teams small and then it becomes personal. You know who you're playing against. You know the player who chainsawed you in half last round was also the one who frag taged you the round before and now you're thirsting for revenge!! And finally you knock him down and you know his frantically tapping B to slow the bleeding, yelling in his mic for his teamates to pick him up, but you just can't stop grinning as you approach him with the chainsaw and slice him in half!! Muaahah... I can't wait...
