SRPG ??

S = ? strategic ??

then I would call it a TRPG (Tfor Tactical).

Overall, the gameplay looks dated. It is just too classic.

Look up the word "classic". What you are likely thinking of is "old fashioned".

==> well, I m not sure we understand each other.
What I meant was something like this :

I have the impression this game is (again) the same JRPG we have already played before. I m not a big JRPG player and even less JTRPG. But I played FFT on PS1 and Frontmission3 more recently and I think the gameplay (and even the artistic style) looks old gen / dated.

Disgae 3, Fire Emblem, Tears to Tiara, Valkyria Chronichles, can we get a traditional jrpg that people will actually play... ie not 360 exclusive!?

Looks have never stopped me playing a SRPG. I want at the very least a semi decent story and more importantly a challenge.

Some of this art looks like borderline lolicon. The people that make this kind of stuff should be locked up.

That's just how SRPG's look though, Libb. What you're saying is like me telling you that SMG is dated since it sticks to the platforming genre. Yes there are some new approaches to SRPG's coming out, like Valkyria Chronicles, but that doesn't mean every new SRPG has to have a system like theirs.

Well, I respect people choice.

After all, as many, I dont have so much experience on SRPG (this is a very hardcore gamer type of game)

Whaaaaaat!? The PS3 is getting an RPG!? haha I joke of course :P

I like the style a lot and i would def think about picking this up if it comes over.

BTW: The older guy's voice at around 23 seconds in sounds like Ocelots voice from the original japanese MGS4 trailer. Just something I noticed :P
