Anybody played this game?  It looks like I can get it for around $40 on ebay.  Is it worth it?

Would this be Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds?

It is well worth it if you like a less serious golf game than Tiger Woods. The characters are all a little zany and cartoony, in a fun way, but the golf physics are top notch.

It is a great party game with friends at home. There is even a special mode for new comers so they only have to set the distance of their swing and not time to moment of impact.

Any one can play it. You can either use basic controls to just hit the ball, or once you are more skilled, you can use button combinations to do trick shots like sidespin and backspin.

The online portions of the game are also great. You can have 50 people tournaments, but all players play at the same time as ghosts on your course, so it is really fast. And the lobby system is the most fun you'll have in a lobby. I've spent hours in the lobby. A keyboard is a near necessity to have fun in the lobby.

I've enjoyed the game so far. It's simple to pick up and play. The game starts off being quite easy (a little too easy IMO), but becomes more challenging as you unlock more characters and tournaments. There's tons of unlockables (courses, golfers, caddies, equipment, and clothing) and online play is pretty fun, but currently lacks voice chat.

Good point about the voice chat, but could you imagine how hectic the voice transmission would be for a 50 person tournament.

Unless the update changed it, communication with others is limited to about 30 text characters.

It gets very challenging once you are at the expert level, There's so much wind.

Its great .Easy to play ,hard to master.And with apparently limitless amounts of content to unlock.ANd the online is absolutely killer.

I love it.

It's truely a relaxing game that is colourful and anyone could enjoy, don't expect a sim like Tiger woods though.

I have the game and really enjoy it. The game is a lot of fun. Very simple game and the online lobby is a lot of fun.
