Forums - General - I got to see Indy 4 and Postal in the last 2 days...

...and to be honest, I had a much better time watching Postal.

Indy 4 put me to sleep as its all been done before...bad guys that are bad for no reason, impossible stunts especially done by a 60+ year old , Indy's hat which cant be destroyed... I already forgot most of the scenes and dialog in the movie. There is nothing interesting in the movie other than a few action scenes towards the end involving fire ants... You got to love how there is always one ant that bites the main character first to tell them they are in danger...and then the rest start coming out.

Postal however I won't forget for a long long time. Its not a good movie by any means but its unique and different and quite interesting when it comes to taste... and it sticks out like a sore thumb compared to fairy tales hollywood makes.

I think its hillarious when a multi-billion dollar franchise with the best director and writers is less interesting then something done by Uwe Boll.

Maybe its time to switch the guard in hollywood...

The opening scene of Postal is hliarious.

'Right, we're off to Barbados!'

I havent seen it, just that scene on youtube. Makes me want to see it though, which is strange considering its director

Indy 4 sucks. In general.

I don't feel like backing up my argument but it has something to do with: too much lighting, spielberg cannot make a movie, and the dialogue sucked.

The interesting question is: Did you like the old Indy movies? If you think the same about them then I can ignore your review

The indestructible hat etc. made up some of the best movies ever (for me).
