She's done anyway. Obama vs McCain, I think we already know who will win what.

McCain.  (Operation Chaos has just begun.  28% of Clinton voters will switch sides in Nov.  http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/03/26/dems.switch.poll/index.html)  Now that's REAL change Barack.

PS Hitler gave good speeches too.

Man, it's been a while since I saw Godwin's Law on this site.

I could put that a better way. Oratory isn't really a sign of leadership. A lot of great leaders were great orators, but they also showed leadership.

If oratory is a, leadership is b, and leaders are c, then a=/=b fallacy= If c = a then c = b.  Therefore c does not = a for b is a separate variable--a=/=b.  Lord your issuance of Godwin's law is futile at best.  Besides, Obama's equation for change is capitalist democracy to socialist democracy.  I would rather take the former. Gov't healthcare, gov't programs xInf.  Feasible, no.  Practical, no.  Appealing in a speech, yes.

You know... it's things like this that are kinda weird.

On the one hand... you want to bring up the... few dozen things wrong with that.

On the other hand... it really isn't going to register with someone who brought it up in the first case.

For the record... Hitler generally was a model citizen aside from the racism and wanting to kill the jews and was actually a very effective political leader too...

It's just the wars... the racism and the holocaust that makes him one of the biggest douchebags to ever walk the face of the planet. (somehere below Stalin and Rob Thomas.)

I mean, he didn't drink, not even caffine, didn't smoke... ok sure, he did a lot of speed, but nobody knew the negative effects back then.  He also was a really good painter of buildings and landscapes.

So by that logic we should all be drunken caffine and tobacco hyped maniacs with no artistic talent.

I think you guys misunderstood my post. I asked how he came to the conclusion that Clinton was going to assassinate Obama based on her reference to an event that actually happened. I did not ask what methods she would use to assassinate him. Again, I will state that I am no fan of Clinton. Or Obama and McCain for that matter, but Clinton is the worst.

My fault. Actually I understood, but I thought that she cut such a sorry figure that I could only joke about it. OTOH, if that wasn' simply an unfortunate slip of the tongue, I wouldn't think she's ready to really get him killed, perhaps, if she's really mean, desperate and lusting for power beyond decency, she could try to get him politically "dead", for example trying to find whatever could help to build a sex scandal.

Eh, i don't see a sex scandal doing anything.   He's the new Bill Clinton.  He might be Bill Clinton 2.0 actually.  He dodges stuff that would of even given Bill Clinton a hard time.

Sometimes politicians actually give honest replies with no internal filter, much like how you would if you were talking to a friend ... I suspect that the kennedy's are on her mind due to the Kennedy brain cancer and their support for Obhama, and that these two events were linked in her memory (somehow), so when she responded she added unnecessary information that people often add.

That was pretty much what I meant. I think you thought I meant the opposite.

Lord your issuance of Godwin's law is futile at best.

How is it futile. You wrote "Hitler". That's not "futile", that's a fact. Godwin's Law only states that Hitler or nazis would be mentioned. Anything else is just additions.

Besides, Obama's equation for change is capitalist democracy to socialist democracy. I would rather take the former. Gov't healthcare, gov't programs xInf. Feasible, no. Practical, no. Appealing in a speech, yes.

You seem to think I was supporting Obama's speech over action. If you had read my comment properly, you would know I was not.
