Correct abbreviation would be Famicom, since "NES" launced at 1985.

$45 isn't bad if it works, although the games you got with it are garbage. Enjoy it in any case, I know I enjoy mine (and the 300 or so games).

I got a TopLoader NES with all the hook-ups, a dogbone controller, and 8 games for $54(including shipping) a few years ago. If I recall correctly, the games in the bundle were BurgerTime, SMB/Duck Hunt, TMNT, Batman, Jack Nicklaus golf game, Days of Thunder, Bases Loaded, and Jeopardy. I already had SMB/Duck Hunt and TMNT, but it never hurts to have a back-up. :)
