 It is better to set lower expectation on MGS 4 sales so we are not disappointed. The more MGS 4 sales the better. It would not surprise me if MGS 4 manages to sell over the 5 million sales mark.

NG2 is pretty underrated, it is getting no hype at all. Maybe that's a good thing though...

lol. I just went to NeoGAF and the thread's already been locked. I was gonna post in it, but alas, no more.

Edit: I'm wondering how the guy has "member" status already.  He only has 51 posts.  He should still be a junior member.

 I'll be surprised if NG2 sells that much, if I had to guess, I'd say 1.5-2 million (unless it gets bundled).

Son, you, are the joke. According the vgchartz data the highest selling NG game is, believe it or not, on the ps3 at roughly 400k. NG2 maybe getting alot of hype on the interwebz but it will be lucky to pass 1 million. As for mgs4 gamestop already said its the best selling ps3 game based off of preorders alone not to mention its bundled with the reintroduction to the 80 gig ps3. Mgs4 will have no problem reaching 3 million and wouldnt surpise me if it stopped at 5. And btw this topic has been proven false.

I believe if you look at the sales more closely Debaus you'll find that the sales for a few regions are missing for all of the NG games except for NG black (or whatever the PS3 one was called). I'm fairly sure that I heard the original NG sold at least 1m.
