Gametrailers had an interview with him recently where he said that he'll help out with future games, but he wants to be able to let the development team handle it without him being as involved as much as he currently is.

He also said that this was his plan with MGS4, but seeing as how it's "Snake's last mission" and how much of the story needed to be tied up, he decided to play a large part in the development of MGS4.

Nevertheless. I am looking forward to see Kojima working on MGS 5 =)

he says snakes story is finished in mgs4. So how can there be a MGS5 the S in the name stands for solid snake. Just a new metal gear series with a new hero'd be cool though.

Bwoah, if they'd really wanted to use Snake, they'd probably just make a prequel or fit another game in there which took place in between the others.
