Yes, it's destined to surpass 50%, and will possibly do so before the end of the year, given the boost in production.

Sure, I see 50% around the end of the year, after that I still see it growing
It will happen by Christmas. It's had over 50% of the WW market 3 weeks in a row, and is only gonna speed up after Wii Fit.
I'll say no.
But if it does I imagine it will stay there.
I don't expect it to though because if that's the case I don't think PS3 will beat 360 by at least 10 million. Which I'd expect to be the case.

No way, in fact I predict it'll only have 5% market share by the end of the generation because we all know how weak consoles never win the console race.

Almost certainly, especially with the increased production. However, the way the percentages work, the larger everyone's base is, the more units that are out there in total, the harder it will be to raise each percentage point.
It will make it, possibly by Christmas, if not, then definitely by the end of March 2009
50% is a lot. That means it consistently needs to sell more than the PS3 and 360 combined.

3 weeks in a row so far, including the week of the GTA4 launch. I don't know what could possibly stop it at this point.

360 and PS3 have some very good games coming out in the 2nd half of '08. There are a lot of reasons why it would never reach 50%. I hope it does, but it's not a given. After e3 we should know more of what Nintendo is releasing in the 2nd half of the year.
