Is this OP real? Dude almost every game you mention is completely exclusive to 360. Not timed, indefinately.

Your post just shows me how much PS3 owners seem to want 360 games but are to fanboyish to actually care about playing them.

 The problem in that statement is that you just listed them as "PS3 owners', obviously if they ONLY wanted the 360 exclusives they wouldn't have bought a PS3. I personally think the 360 hardware is god F#$^ing aweful, but I admit hands down that they have some fantastic games :P I chalk that up to third party development however, not Microsoft. Would I like those games to be on the PS3? Sure :P They're great games ^_^ Do I want to go through Microsoft's piece they call a console to get them? Eh... not so much. At least not at the current price.

Forza 2

Ninja Gaiden 2
Too Human
Fable 1,2

StarCraft can probably add more.

Thats at least 9 IP's that M$ have 100% rights to.

Not really the point, but most of the PS-exclusives that went multiplat were announced when PS3 WAS still expected to dominate. But that's beside the point--his topic is highlighting how the PS3 is getting former Xbox-exclusives (even though he's pulling some out of his ass), and I rebutted. How these multiplats came to be means nothing.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

I wouldn't call it a phenomenon.  I would just call it natural.

think of the wii and 360 with their ps2 ports.  Examples of such being bully (360 and wii), and okami (wii).

think of the mgs series ports.

think of the gta series ports.

think of the ports from failed sega consoles. 

think of ports of ps3 games on the 360.  An example being virtua fighter 5. 

 

etc....

But them's the brakes heading into a new generation of technology that no debate has a much higher dependency on big budget titles. The userbase isn't there to support that kind of move. The only natural order would be to have the potential multi-plats be just that. Later in the generation it will be far less commmon, but so early in there's no real choice.

As a PS3 fan i am actually embarrassed to read this thread. The 360 guys are gonna either rip this apart or ignore it completely as it's mind boggling why someone would want to wait a year for game.

*sighs* Gears 2, NG2 etc. These games are published by Microsoft and have no chance of going to PS3. I would love it if it did but thinking other wise is just not reality. The same reason why KZ2 won't be on the 360,cause it's published by Sony,they have the rights to it....

Not too mention,the ports we get like Lost Planet are just lazy devs trying to see if they can get a little extra cash with little extra effort.

I've been a sony fan all my life but even i can't justify a crappy port when i see one. Here's hoping Bioshock can change my opinion...
