either way im getting it anyway, so far my psp has been great and i have only had it for a year and a bit.

Whats going to be in the PSP2?

Well, to hazard a guess id say some computer chips, maybe some diodes, a motherboard, a few resistors...maybe a couple of those buzzer thingys...

A Mini-Cell, wouldn't be too hard, and Sony's been pushing the shit out of reducing the cost of that chip :P I have a feeling it would make "scaling down" engines alot easier too in terms of PSP developement.

Blue-tooth would be a godsend, it would immediately make the skype feature useful, comunications while playing an online game would be stellar, using my PSP as a controller would be tits and then some :D, PSP > PS3 communication like never before ^^ 

 Anyone thaught about WAP data transfer ... that could be neet , especilaly if Sony would make a deal with the bigger mobile phone developers like Orange , Vodafone etc.

Doesn't need to be as powerful as PS2 to display PS2 like graphics.

It pretty much has to have a touchscreen.

I don't know why it wouldn't have a camera. (It's a big multimedia thing now, and cell phones are rapidly improving this technology, so I don't think it would be a huge deal to slap one in.)

Sizeable internal storage but not a gigantic amount because they figure you'll just use SD cards or whatever ... UNLESS they go with a PSN-type service. Then they'll have a pretty huge internal storage AND you'll probably use cards.

*OMG I just had an idea! What if the PSP2 has a voice (video?) chat service built into it like Pictochat on the DS? And it hooks up via the Internet? [edit:  Yes, or like Skype.  I see I got beaten to the idea.  I didn't want to name that as people might not have been familiar.] That would be pretty sweet added value for tons of people. Hopefully you could go into some kind of battery conservation mode while doing this.
