I don't think I'm neccessarily more intelligent than you, but I do think you have proven unwilling to read and comprehend what is said on multiple posts in this thread even after asked multiple times to re-examine what was said and yet you never once re-addressed any of it.

An unwillingness to attempt to comprehend something is one and the same as an unwillingness to learn the facts. My statement was logically sound and it didn't require me to be condescending or assume a greater intelligence. Your positions and statements in this thread speak loudly of what I was referring.

And if you think playing the sympathy card will get you anywhere simply because I attempt to be a cordial debater then you are sorely mistaken.

You have become so attached to the Global Warming hypothesis that you can not consider alternatives or even provide an adequate defence for your point of view.

One of the undisputed facts of the Global Warming hypothesis is that positive and negative feedbacks essentially cancel eachother out (which is how our planet stays at 'equilibrium' over a long enough timeframe) so you can project the temperature increases dependant on the increase caused by CO2 alone. The impact of CO2 on our temperature is based on a logarithmic scale which means that for every doubling of CO2 emissions you have a 1 degree increase in global temperature; at the same time you have alarmists saying that the world temperature will increase by 3 to 5 degrees over the next century which implies CO2 output at 8 to 32 times our current level. Realistically, do you think that we can increase fossil fuel useage to 8 times our current usage without drastically increasing the cost of said fossel fuels (to a level where it is far too expensive to continue to use them)?

First nothing about your opinions needs to be run by me, you're your own person...so stop playing the sympathy "poor little me, I'm being beat up" game.  Nobody said or implied such a thing, and your continuing to pursue avenues of debate other than the facts related to the topic is only hurting your position further.

Second, I posted my positions and you continually responded to them in ways that showed a clear lack of comprehension.  So yes I got frustrated and yes some of what I said was condescending, I apologised and said I was wrong to do so yet you haven't even demonstrated that you understand what was said yet...truly amazing.

I haven't asked you to assume my position, only to demonstrate that you comprehend what I've said.  And simply stating "I get it" isn't a demonstration of anything.  If you have no desire for the debate then simply stop posting, I see no reason to stop rebutting what I see wrong with your posts in this thread until you stop providing things that I disagree with.

I assume you mean the intelligence thing.  If so then yes your childish display has convinced me you are not capable of this debate.  As I said before it was not necessarily true but I think we both know that if you were able to rebutt what we've said you wouldn't have seen cause for a childish antic like we just saw.

 that you are insulting me in an attempt to change my opinion. also i would note that its been a considerable amount of time since anyone other than i, Sqrl and Happy Squirrel commented on this thread, which suggests we have scared them all off, and perhaps a hint that we should call it a draw and move on. If you can do this, then so will i.
