My only issue with FFCC was the areas that change daily. I basically quit for a few days because I couldn't get these two areas to be explored no matter how many times I tried, and it really screwed up what I wanted to do. Any tricks anyone knows for those areas?

Absolutely.   The actual relation to past FF titles is very little.  I've not played a FF game since FFIII on the SNES.

The FF name and Crystal Chronicles characters are merely to help drive sales.   The game works beautifully on its own merits.

Yes, I started posting again. -_-

This will only take a moment of your time. *steals your watch*

Sounds fun, as it's 4.30am now it won't change my life style much...

I don't have a clue what your talking about man, I'm up to day 250 something and I only have about 2 areas to beat, I got the last boss before but I wanted 100% completion. All I can say is get yourself a tavern and form a party compose it of 1 of each race and make sure your clavat is a whitemage and that your not using a female yuke as they are the actual white mage in the game... granted a clavat with his/her house next to the black mage academy is actually of the same potential as a yuke with is dumb but yuke gets that 1 or 2 extra more intelligence. After that don't issue any behests just have your guys go level on their own accord, then when their levels are high enough give them a holiday and send them to the area your talking about, that's usually the general formula for success. If it's something like unlocking the level 70+ swords or other items then your screwed cause I can't do that yet.

Yeah I know it's very addicting. In the beginning it's kinda slow though. I hope they make expansions where you get new areas to expand. Not just the one main town. Also would like some cgi battles showing what your adventurers are doing.

I think Square really needs to research bringing back Act Raiser, because this game reminds me of Act Raiser yet the things people want the most (Battles) is what Act Raiser delivers.

Only issue is Act Raiser has an ending.

^The director behind FFCC stated recently that he'd like to revisit Actraiser.

As for Actraiser itself, I think it was the fusion of the two elements that made it legendary as the action sequences, taken on their own, were not nearly good enough to sustain a full game (even if you had added a ton more levels)--Actraiser 2 pretty much confirmed this by amping the graphics and cutting the sim elements leaving an empty husk of a game.

This game will act as a brigde for people to buy the reall FF:CC when it releases on the Wii. This gets people familiar with FF in general which is a goot stragedty for SE overall. I applad their good marketing and game sense.
