I came out ages ago, so it's not a big deal to confirm that I'm gay on this forum. Is what it is. Like any place, you're going to have people who accept it and those who don't. Kind of funny that we don't have an 'Are you a straight?' thread though. Everyone just assumes...

Since we're on the subject, I'd like to ask that the term 'gay' no longer be used to indicate that something is bad. A quick search of the forums shows the term used that way a number of times and it's offensive. Thanks.

And as for use of the word gay, I agree, and I've been dishing out the warnings on it too. Only one bigotry related ban so far though, so maybe, just maybe, the internet is becoming a more mature place...
