if nintendo will make enough copies by the end of 2008 we will see that:
1. wii fit 15+ mln
2. mario kart 11+ mln
3. super smash bros brawl 9+ mln

WIi FIT will KILL, ANNIHILATE all of them
It will OUTSELL the other 2 COMBINED x 2...
Is it worldwide or US only? If you says Worldwide:
Wii Fit: 13-14M
SSBB: 9-10M
MK Wii: 8-9M
Let's get some numbers in this thread so it's not just an opinion-fest:
Smash Brothers: 5.36m
Mario Kart: 4.31m
Wii Fit: 2.55m
Smash Brothers has the highest sales, and has not been released in Europe as yet. (Wii Fit also has not been released in America.) Since Brawl has the highest numbers, and will assuredly pick up another 2m sales in Europe, I'd have to say it's the winner for 2008. I actually think both games have a good chance to outsell it lifetime, but Smash Brothers is a much more front-loaded game. That will help it in this calendar year.
End of 2008 totals: Wii 42m, 360 24m, PS3 18.5m (made Jan. 4, 2008)

And this is assuredly not happening. Period. These titles may hit these numbers eventually, but not in one year!
Good comparison: Wii Play has been out forever, and topped the charts for months on end. It's still sold "only" 12 million units.

Try to understand that Wii Fit will sell a consistent 5m units per year for the next 3-4 years. It won't sell all at once. Look at the sales pattern for past games of a similar nature: Nintendogs, Brain Training, Wii Play, etc. They don't sell millions all at once, they do it over a period of many, many, many months.
I said I expect Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit to outsell Brawl lifetime. (I still think Mario Galaxy will outsell Brawl lifetime as well - it just has more mass appeal.) But we're talking 2008 sales here, which favor front-loaded games. Wii Fit will have to sell almost 10m units this year to beat out Brawl, and it won't be able to count the sales from last year's Japanese launch. That's a tall order there.

By the end of the year, Mario Kart Wii will be first, by the end of the generation, Wii Fit will be at the top.
It's all about legs: MK Wii's legs will be much better than Brawl's, especially in Japan. Wii Fit's legs will be huge, but a little lower week by week. What I mean is, Wii Fit will soon start selling about 60k per week w/w while MK will stay at 100k weekly much longer.

==> Wiifit legs >>>>>>> MK legs
Wiifit : 25 weeks : 50k
MK : 5 weeks : 100k
In 4 weeks, MK weekly sales will be under Wiifit in Japan ...
