How old is this thread? Man, oh, man it's like I just stepped into the past. And by the way, the title of this thread is so deceiving. I mean, it sounds like you just murdered your wife, and buried her in your backyard or something. The Xbox 360 is not that bad. Why would you vow never to get one? Good games exist on all consoles. If you're a true gamer, then be happy with all three.

first you should try out:
-Bioshock-probably the best story in a fps ever
-COD4-one of the best multiplayer games ever
-Orange box-the best deal in gaming ever its only 40$ and it comes with 5 games
-Gears of war-very solid single player-and a good multi-player,online co-op makes this very fun
-forza2-hey your not gonna only play fps's and this is the best racer on 360
-oblivion-unless you own it for ps3 you should give this a shot,the same reason like forza 2,its not an fps and its awesome will last you months,so much to do here
-GTA4-possibly the best story in a 360 game,one of the best games of all time,superb single player,solid multiplayer definitely a must buy
