Yeh the recent announcements have increased my desire, and I have seen several reviews of ME and LO and they look great (plus I love flight sims so AC 6 will be great). I don't have ANYTHING at all to do, so I have plenty of times for these games

careful with a second hand 360. the only games I'd love to play on that system are Lost Odyssey and Ninja Gaiden II

The premiums with HDMI should be the latest hardware but no guarantee... When I bought mine online, I got it from Buy.com when they had a coupon and coupled it with google checkout to get it cheap. I was kind of irritated since I got a box that was made in september of the previous year even though I bought it in May of the following year. My DVD drive failed and I have new hardware now so no biggie, but doing it again, I would only buy it local and make sure I got the 175W power supply. There was a minor die shrink which reduced heat and power consumption hence the 175W power supply vs. the 203. If you get one that is a 203W power supply, it will most certainly be all of the new stuff unless you just got one that has been sitting around but there is a chance you could get something older... If you get a 175W unit, there is ZERO chance of getting old hardware... You do, of course, have the option of returning it if you get old hardware but shippinig will eat up any savings you make on an online bundle...
All that said, I'd have a really hard time believing there is any old hardware out there anyway so you are probably fine.

If it is old, I still have that 3 year warantee to fall back on. Since I am in the UK, I think we got the HDMIs later, which should improve my chances
Wow, another one of these threads. You could probably just search for the last thread about a person who just got a 360 and what games to get for it.
This topic was bumped. Since I made my first post, I decided that I actually hate Gears of War, and spit upon it. Instead, let me recommend Call of Duty 4, for the PS360, or Halo 3 even.
