Well I started off with the PS1 which I got for like my 6th birthday or something. It came with Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. Before then my dad had some DOS games which I played.

Hehe, and people say that computers are too hard to use compared to consoles NOW.

Was that first one Castle Adventure? If so, that game rocked. More so even than Alley Cat. It introduced me to the world of roguelikes.

Also, I got into gaming when I was about four. My uncle gave our family one of his TRS-80 Model IIIs for my sisters to use for schoolwork, and a bunch of games on cassettes. It was a 48K dual disk drive all-in-one (apart from the tape player) monstrosity. I used to play this game, Hangman, Chess and a bunch of others I haven't yet added to my game collection on it. I also used to build my own games in BASIC, so I credit it for introducing me to the world of programming too.

Yeah it was, I was playing on a 286 I think. Dos 3.11, had to put the disk in all the TIME!! OMG that was bad. I played a lot of space quest 3 also when it came out. I used to love the arcade minigame and the robots minigames. They were both way cool.

For my 7th birthday, my mum got me a PS1 randomly, and I really liked it (especially Crash), then 7 months later a PS2 arrived, much to my suprise, with SSX, and that really got me into gaiming, though I have only really been a proper gamer for the last few years

Mario Bros and Duck Hunt on the NES were in my house because of my brother when I was less than a year old, after that I've owned at least one console of every generation of gaming that came after.
