It surprises me that alot of people find it funny to use this figure head in games.   I think it is highly insensitive to alot of people that dealt with things we ourselves could not imagine

On another note this is nintendo which does its most to make it a safe online experience, i think banning the name is a good thing.

Of course people are going to find a way around it but nintendo could do something more and start to ban people from online if they do that.

i guess using osama mii is out of the question then

Yeah, I've played against a few Hitler's on MK. I'm glad they're doing this.

But what if the person's real name is Hitler. Its kinda bs if they disallow it all due to the past. This is discrimination honestly, I hope someone with the name Hitler actually comes out and slams Nini for this.

Yeah. I guess you'll resign in protest from VGChartz when people start trying to create accounts with the name "Hitler" in them and the boss says those account names are not acceptable. Right? Would you really put your money where your mouth is then?

Wow, I can't believe people are actually attacking Nintendo on this. Anything that helps cut down on childish and insensitive crap like this online is a good thing. I'd love to see Xbox Live ban people for some usernames...

Put cat ears on your mii and call it Kitler

Hotmail does not allow you to have the name: Adolf Hitler.
Adolf is a very common name in Germany/Austria.

You should be allowed to use what ever username you want. No need to police the whole world.

Nintendo hates Austrians?

I wonder if it's the people with those kinds of name that are complaining.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
