Wii doesn't pick up the wiimote.

I tried smacking it (maybe not hard enough), all it does is trying to sync but doen't "click".

Anyone got some tips?

I don't see how smacking it is going to do anything for your bluetooth connection, maybe instead you should try NOT smacking it.

turn off your Wii, then turn it back on, then press sinc on the Wii then the Wii Mote 1-5 seconds after.

Did you press the red button on the wii and then the wiimote (on the black screen with white text when the wii powers on)? I used to press it on the wiimote first and then the wii and that didn't work.

Edit: Dammit O-D-C beat me to it.

Turn off the PS3 while syncing. If it's too close it might be interferring.
