Yesyes, each character has different stats!

One Japanese guy (called Mamber) has compared the stats of all characters and found out the differences between the characters. The stats differ a little bit, but it's good to know.

Ya, there's probably no difference.

I still don't get it?

Is the 0 (white cells) in the table the lowest stat a bike/kart can have, but if you add a specific character it adds a certian bit extra.

So if you use the same bike with baby mario it is a decent bit heavier than with toad/toadette/etc.
Although it isn't really that much I do notice the difference between funky kong and Rosalinas speed when I do a start boost, which is only 1pt difference, wheras baby Mario is 8pt heavier than toad.

If so then what is the list in the OP as that uses different numbers?

If you click the picture, you see the speed, weight etc.. from all bikes. You can see which bikes are fast, and which accelerate fast.

If you select a character, his 'points' like the weight of Baby Mario, gets added to the stats of the bike/kart.

So the Bowser Bike + Funky gives 61 + 4 = 64 speed etc etc..

The picture is an updated list afaik, so better look at that one instead of the quoted one.
