Update: Zero Suit Samus

When Samus destroys her Power Suit, she’s left with the Zero Suit. What she’s lost in power and weaponry, she makes up for in speed!

Once she turns that Paralyzer in her hand into a whip, she has quite a long reach as well! Not exactly the straightforward fight you thought it was, huh?

I wonder though...Sakurai posts so many ZSS pics, and even puts a character bio up?  It's gotta be a separate character as well...

Screw the smash board geeks, this game is meant to be quality fun and that's exactly what it "looks" like were getting.

Sheik was a separate character.

No, Sheik was a different character, but accessible at any time during a match...a press of the button could switch back and forth between Zelda and Sheik.

This is a bit different...only a Smash Ball item will switch Samus to her Zero Suit form. Still...it's basically kick-ass, so I don't care.

hehe, there's definitely Smash Board users whining about it...the usual "I'm boycotting this game because it forces us to use items!"

Hehe let them have their strange little "games aren't for fun" community.  Of course, if you really want to play as her without the transformation you can always get an action replay.  I always had one for Gamecube so I could mess around as Master Hand.  Honestly though he's shown so much on her that at this point I think there is at least a decent chance of being able to select her or switch to her somehow.

Yeah, I think you'll see plenty of her in the game, even if she's not selectable from the start...which is still debatable apparently. Either way, a cool addition to the roster.

Right about the character update too...that seems the norm.

Fire Emblem stage tomorrow perhaps?
