I hope they do cool character entrances at the start of matches. They did it in the
first one, with captin falcon getting out of the blue falcon and fox leaping out of his arwing ect...but they didn't do it in melee. They just had those boring 'spawn platforms'.

The game will be fantastic without online. It will be even better with it. Not having online will not "take away" from the game (don't forget that the previous games didn't have it either, and they were still great). But having online would be a perfect addition to the game; that's probably the safest way to think about it, to guard against disappointment. You know you're gonna love this game either way.

I'm going to love the game either way...but there's a lot of gamers considering it a given. And if/when they announce that there will be NO online...a lot of gamers are gonna get pissed and "not buy the game."

I say "not buy the game" because you know they're going to rent it, love it, then buy it.

Really looking foward to this game. Its one of my most anticipated games of this year. Right now theres 12 pages on this article wouldnt be surprise if it went to 30

Oh, it'll get to 30, no doubt. Super Smash Bros has been updating for how long? A couple months?

If the game comes out in November, we'll be seeing like 40 pages of this thread, especially more when big info is released, and close to the game's release date.

I'm starting to get quite excited for this game. The amount of art and content in it will be astounding - and I'm sure they are hiding more of the "real" secrets (new characters, settings) for much later. 

Well there's the "real" secrets that they're saving for later...

And there's the REAL secrets that are just so.

There's going to be characters and stages in the game that we won't know about until we play the game and unlock them.

I imagine some fairly big secrets will be told before the game comes out to build up hype though...if Sonic was in the game, they'd tell us before the game came out...more people would definitely buy the game if they knew Sonic was in it.

I'm really curious if they include Miis. If they did, wow, that would be huge. Bigger than online play I think. I have no idea if they would announce it publicly though, to build hype, or if they would keep it a secret and have it be the final, hardest to get unlockable. Sort of like the Mr. Game and Watch of the series.

it would be awesome if they include mii's. but that make that unannounced so that word-of-mouth will keep the sales high weeks after weeks instead of a spike first week.

so far, it's already a must-buy game regardless.
