Very impressive plagueoflocust... I'm not playing you online if the game has it lol.

IF it has online. It's still an if...and it worries me very much. I don't need online, but it sounds like a majority of gamers just assume it's a given.

We're now over 600 posts!

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Well it wasn't assumed just on accident or anything. It was mentioned early in development that they intended it to be a feature. I will buy the game either way as SSB games in general are very fun with other people, but it will be better online for sure.

how could smash soccer get internet and this not ???? that would be weird but I´d still play it with other people at home 95% of the time so it wouldn´t be really that bad

I only played about 5 or 6 rounds of smash soccer online and about an hour alone, but with other people its really fun, even people who never played anything but wii sports can have a blast

It'd be awesome to play against you guys though. And online tournaments would get huge.

Sadly, that probably means live tournaments wouldn't be as popular anymore. It'd go the way of Halo I'd imagine. It used to be amazing to LAN together and have a big Halo party...now network and online play is a given, so people don't physically get together as often.

I definitely want this game to be online...even if it had a couple slight glitches like a TINY bit of a lag, I think the game would still be fine, it's not a split-second VF game, though a split second definitely matters when you're both experienced players.

If there was online play, it had better be non-laggy. Lag = death when it's in a game like this.

@ Ben

your right on, online would really help this game, we all know it´s most fun to see the face of the guy you just beat up, but it would also be really cool to play people from all over the world, what I really hope for is that you can go two on two via internet (like smash soccer), tag team is so much fun and when someone who never played it playes with you its better to play tag team online than to woop his ass over and over again :)

Well Bowser's art style didn't change

I think it did. He looks more "dumbass" than "badass" this time around (which is appropriate), and his colors are more subdued.

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

I think you are just seeing a change in graphical effects, rather than in art style.  His general body was kept completely the same.

Yeah, there's not really anything different about his style. His red hair spikes are more flowing, but that's more of a graphical change, again.
