I would gladly welcome the return of the Mother series and a new Kid Icarus game for the Wii!!!

I'm not saying that the fact that the guy was incorrect means Ness is returning. But please please please stop justifying a jerk who likes to screw with people on forums with this crap. It really bothers me, and he has no credibility.

This argument over the return of dismissal of Ness had gotten a bit carried away. Don't you all think?

What are some extremely unlikely characters that you know would never make it to SSBB, but would be cool if they did show up. I'll name a few to start.

2. The eggplant enemy from Kid Icarus
3. mother brain
4. viewtiew joe; that would own (he's perfect for the game!)
5. Leon and ashley from RE4
6. a metal slime from DQ

Yeah we are really far behind on stages so I hope it's a new stage. Do you think the AC character will be named Animal Crosser? That wouldn't be a bad name... As far as Olimar, I'd love to have him but isn't he 6 inches tall technically? Would they actually break canon so much as to grow him into a normal sized fighter? I wouldn't mind if they did, but I'm not sure if they will or not.

On your second topic:

1. Sora. He would be perfect for it.
2. Geno.  I'd love to have him but Super Mario RPG just isn't remembered anymore so it won't happen.
3. Ratchet.  Sony + Nintendo colaboration for the ultimate video game???
4. Knuckles.  Even if Sonic has a decent chance, Knuckles doesn't.  Which is too bad.
5. Phoenix Wright.  OBJECTION! 

I think Ness will stay in, and that Lucas will have a different moveset. Why would they remove Ness? Sakurai stated on the japanese Melee site that Ness is one of his favorite characters. So I think he'll return.

I expect a stage tomorrow, or at least this week, plus an item, a how to play and Fox's FS. I already guessed a newcomer. ^_^

And holy gezz, you guys are going at it. 

Does anybody here want Mr. Game & Watch back as badly as I do? I think he's the most historically important character other than Donkey Kong. Donkey Kong was huge because he was the star (and villain) of the first platformer ever (a year before Pitfall even, making that game look like crap, amirite?). Donkey Kong's extra badass for being a villain with his first game named after him. Wario also started as a villain, but in Super Mario Land 2, which wasn't named after him. Anyway, to me, Mr. Game & Watch represents THE D-PAD, one of the greatest gaming conventions of all time, effectively replacing the arcade joystick in home consoles. And he cooks sausages! And he's 2-D! He's incredible! He's my favorite character! I'm buying the game either way, but if I find out Mr. Game & Watch isn't in it, I'm gonna put the disc in, hold my eyes right up to the slot, and cry so hard into my Wii that it explodes.

I wouldn't worry too much about G&W. The series icons imply very strongly that he will be returning. It's not 100% certain, but it's very likely.
