"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."
Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

It was. The director confirmed that he would include online, even if he felt it wasn't the best experience. He said that months ago. It's in one of ign's previews for the game. Again, you didn't see it because it got so little coverage. |
I hover over every single detail in this game. Link me to anything official confirming online multiplayer.

What I find amazing is that, on this site, I have seen little to no backlash to the announcement.
Almost every single other site/ poster of said sites are just complaining about EVERYTHING about the Online aspects. Sure, it is not perfect, but it is much better than nothing(and these same people were doubting online at ALL, from what I could tell)
It just feels like, no matter what Nintendo does, they will continue to be criticized.
It would have just been easier to hear one complaint about no online than 100 complaints about lack of online features...
Oh well, they know we are getting the game regardless...
This is just the cherry(or half a cherry depending on your attitude) on top.
Simple answer for DonWii: We are not bitches.
For me this is perfect. Lag? I've been playing online for 10 years, that's not new to me.
(Unconfirmed) Lack of headset? It can be added later with an update.
Lack of ladder? I don't care on contests with people I don't know. I prefer to have a personal ladder with friends from forums and such.
The people that complains are just a bunch of whining bitches
Something less awesome than yesterday, no doubt.
Update: The Enemies From Subspace
The enemies in Super Smash Bros. Brawl: The Subspace Emissary are called the Subspace Army!
Right now, I’d like to introduce some of the more powerful ones.
<ROADER>

This enemy looks like a motorized unicycle. These guys ride around in groups, and are both fast and powerful.
<POPPANT>
Their bucket trousers are filled with presents and candy. If you approach these cowards, they’ll flee.
<BYTAN>
Leave these enemies be and they’ll multiply in a flash. Destroy them before they get to be too much trouble!
<TROWLON>
This creature will use its trowel-like arms to lift characters up and fly off with them.
<SHAYDAS>
This unpleasant, fog-like enemy has a weak spot at the core of its chest!
<AUROROS>
This bird dives from above, piercing the ground. You can pull out any Auroros that sticks itself into the ground.
<GREAP>
It’s HUGE! It attacks by swinging two sickles down upon you. Its red head is its weak spot.
<The R.O.B. Squad>
The escort the Ancient Minister brings with him is a R.O.B squad?! There are some that fire beams and others that fire missiles.
There are other enemies that will appear and try to impede your progress. Good luck! Don’t lose! And don’t run away!

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release. (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
Kinda cool update, not too bad. I guess they're like 'wire fighters' from SSBM.
