Yeah, wallpapers like that are relatively simple to make in photoshop. All will bow to the power of the Magic Wand tool!!

Kinda fun to fool around with, though.

Of course, I'm doing something even more simple now. But hopefully more interesting... Here's a still-very-rough start, with just the playable characters...

It's so easily editable that I think I'll be able to keep it updated...

Looks good.  What filter(s) did you apply for the effect?

It's two layers. The bottom is untouched. The top just has the Find Edges filter, desaturated, set to multiply in the layers pallette, opacity around 50%, with detail painted back into the eyes and faces with the eraser. It's a pretty quick and simple process.

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.

Nice.  It's a nifty effect.  I'm looking forward to future updates of your work. :)

It's good technacally, but there's just too much white space (or in your case, bluue). Hopefully it will look better with all the characters.

If falco is back (and he better be back) Its going to be a tough call for first brawler... Between falco and pit... pokemon trainer is a close runner up because of charizard hehe

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

But this is the 3000th post!

So everybody...who's the first character you're going to use in Brawl? Assuming you start with a Vs. match I guess...the single player Subspace adventure mode might force you to play as a certain character first.

I'm probably gonna have to be Samus first, since that's who I almost always play as in Melee...I want to see how different it feels in Brawl.

The first character out of the announced characters...

I'll probably start with Diddy Kong. He looks fun and fast.
