Forums - Nintendo - Super Smash Bros. Brawl Official Updates

Whoa. Melee is still one of the most gorgeous games out there, but Brawl just keeps blowing it out of the water. That water is so beautiful. o_O

interesting update, in the pic with ivysaurs vine whip it sort of looks like he grabbed Kirby's foot

Also that answers the question where the Pokemon trainer will stand on the skinniest map, Bridge of Eldin...he's on the bridge, still in the background though.

When the bridge breaks, he'll have to do some jumping around I'm sure though. Haha, it'd be funny if somehow the Trainer didn't make it on a jump on the bridge and died...Pokemon left without their trainer...

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

haha yes that would be very funny

I'd guess he would have a platform added to the stage to stand on. That would be the easiest way to solve that problem.

This is what they'll do if they're in a hurry, or lazy. Of course this is Smash Bros. and the level of neat small details looks like it'll completely surpass that of Melee. I would imagine they've spent some time on every level figuring out what routes the Trainer will take should the characters go where etc, but won't be hugely disappointed if it ends up being simpler than that.

Maybe Team Rocket will pick him up on their baloon, proceed to beat him up and steal his pokemon.

The specials are cool, but Rock Smash seems up of place. Does he pull that rock out of his ass of something? Or perhaps it's not a rock afterall..

"You won't find Adobe here in Nairobi"

The specials are awesome. I think the whip one can still do damage Ben, I don't think it's purely used for grappling when you fall.

I like the diverse array of attacks, it really shows that the bigger the pokemon, the more badass the attack.

Hmm, 9 moves, but only 6 shown.

Of course, the big questions is still what Ash's Final Smash will be.

-Manella: Yeah... sux0rz! I hate missing out on food...
-Maya: Nick... what does "Sucksores" mean?
-Phoenix: No idea...

Awesome update. The rock move seems a little weird, but the sheer awesomeness of playable Charizard makes up for it.

I wish he'd update the Pokemon Stadium stage, since it's used in half the updates.

"[Our former customers] are unable to find software which they WANT to play."
"The way to solve this problem lies in how to communicate what kind of games [they CAN play]."

Satoru Iwata, Nintendo President. Only slightly paraphrased.
