Ah the Yoshi stomp, one of my most feared attacks, expecially in 4 player chaos matches because it was fast and it had those two stars come out from where you stomped so it had a good splash damage in both directions, very affective, won many a matches useing that + the eggroll and eggthrow. Lets hope this is as good.

A meteor smash is an aerial move that sends enemies downwards. You can recover from them if you press jump with perfect timing. A spike is basically the same thing, except you cannot recover from them.

I just noticed that while browsing amazon. It's still no.1 there. 

The release date is Dec, yet people are preordering it like there's no tomorrow.  A bit surprised how really popular the title is.

Thats right, except you don't have to time it. Just press Up B or up(if you still have anoter jump, but I don't think you would) to cancle out of it.

It's so popular because of all the hype in the thread.  People see a thead about SSBB that's over 1,000 posts long and figure it must be the mostest awesomest game ever, FTW!!11!!!

 Definitely a great move...but you do know every character can do this new stomp right?

It's not number one anymore. God, you Wii fans annoy me some times. If you're going to point out that it hit number one, at least point out that it's now at number three.

It's been superceded by the Wii system and Mario Galaxy.
