It wasnt a random sample from teens from all over, but just those users who use this site. Like someone else said, it has as much credibility as Gamefaqs' daily polls.

The first problem with this statement is that for the most part the 360 library IS the PS3 library. Both systems have a few exclusives that the other doesn't, but they're extremely similar. Lists of recently announced titles seem to indicate that this trend is only going to get stronger.  

As for adult core gamers buying a PS3 or 360 over a Wii, what makes you think so? The adult core gamers on this site sure seem to prefer the Wii, and the millions of people who had to queue for hours to get a Wii during the first few months after the system launched sure as heck weren't soccer moms and school kids.   

Gamers have chosen the Wii as well. Deal with it.

Not the site, but the "Habbo hotel" service users. A Second Life type of chat for kids. Would be pretty similar than WOW made polls, since these are "internet kids". The difference with Gamefaqs poll is, that in this poll, people who reply to it, aren't gamers by default.

I think you should place your blame in the "Official Wii Fit thread". @Lingyis: That's what i have been saying for years about the mature -rated games. They just use the violent theme to appeal the kids. @Mike B: You gave a decent reasoning, which definately shows how bad strategy Sony is using with PS3.

 Errr but, what about the adults above 18??? This poll only proves the stament made by sony (or was ninty??) a while ago (I'm going to look for that link) showing how the PS appealed more to 12-17 teens....

I doubt this surprises anyone. Isn't this pretty common knowledge? Teens are at the age we all try to prove we are adult, and the PS3 gives of the image of being more 'mature'. Not in the sense of what true maturity is, but what teens see as 'adult'. Violence, foul language, sex, high price, and cutting edge tech.

This survey follows my own experience with all my friends and family. The ones I personally know that prefer PS3 are the kids. (They are between 13 and 16).

The pocketbook vote is the only one that counts, and it shows a very different story.
