Misleading title, FFCC is not the same as FFCC:MLaaK....

I haven't tried those games but from what I heard and seen, they don't deserve a mediocre rating. It's unfair to put some biased reviewers to rate those games.

For only 10$ I can see those games being worth the money and worth a better score.

This is truly pitiful and GameSpot is run by a bunch of fanboys.

POP just got a 4.5 score from the same retard that scored LostWinds a 5.5

GS score: 55%
Difference: GS off by 33%

Avrg score for FFCC:MLaaK on gamerankings: 76.3%
GS score: 50%
Difference: GS off by 34,5%

Avrg score for POP on gamerankings: 64%
GS score: 45%
Difference: GS off by 30%

Avrg score for Defend your castle on gamerankings: 70%
GS score: 60%
Difference: GS off by 14,5%

Star Soldier R and Critter Round Up are spot on, but the difference for the other titles is ABYSMAL.

Haze and Lair got the scores they deserved, even Haze got a higher score from GS thant the Avrg score.

Nice one Kyros, except that guy isn't a professional, and by responding he proved he was no better than the ones emailing him but he can add punctuation; which in itself is nothing more than a "Your stupid and I'm better than you, there's nothing you can do about it!" attitude screaming "JUST GIVE ME CLiCKS!" an article like that shouldn't be reffrenced, paraphrased or quoted unless in a joking manner.

To this day I can not understand why someone who falls into one if not all of the following:
Does not own the mentioned platform
Has never played the mentioned software
Does not have any implicite information regarding the topic

Will post in a topic with an opinion and even post a refference that is also an opinion.

I've been of the opinion that Gamespot is in something of a game, to take down Wii scores on Metacritic and Gamerankings. Obviously, it's hard for them to do that with the big AAA games on the system, as publishers would never allow them insight into a games development again, but with smaller titles, especially ones that aren't all over the radar of all gamers, it's an easy way to take down a system's overall score on those ranking sites.

Let's face it, their overall ratings since the Wii has been released haven't made any sense.  They rarely jive with any of the other major sites, and are always handicapped by what usually amounts to a mole hill of complaints.

Personally, if I see a game for the Wii on GS that has a score of 5, I just assume that it is probably about a 7 or 7.5. The bias is really pathetic. Once they were the place I went to for reviews, but now I can't take any of their reviews very seriously.

There are professional game players who enter tornaments each month for money. STOP.

If that man/woman is making money for his educated opinion then guess what, that's his profession, making him a professional.
When a professional doesn't do their job they normally get a verbal warning, step 1 to step 2 and dismissed, or recommended resignation.

Journalists are obligated to report news not their BVA's (beliefs, values and attitudes) if I wanted to read noise I'd go to that site, instead I don't.

Instead I registered with VGC to get statistics on sell throughs, opinions from those who analyze those sell throughs (educated opinion). I'll give you a short explanation on the difference. What he is doing is giving subjective opinion, what VGC attempts to do is give an objective opinion. We have the tools to do such things here.

In this threads case, it's an observation of another site and their record and possible bias towards a particular platform, I would of actually been quit content if someone posted oh say a graph displaying the platform vs rating that these guys do for the more note worthy Wii titles.

Getting on track: If you like to recieve inferential news about how other people feel something is and you actually assimilate their opinions based on your own BVA's then that is totally up to you. I was just saying it's not proving anything when your refferencing a subjective opinion.
