WHAT??! They're 10 times worse than Nintendo Power, who has the habit of reviewing games lower than any other multi platform magazine / website. These guys are sick frustrated, this has nothing to do anymore with reviewing games with an objective eye, but reviewing with hate in the eyes towards the WII and naming reasons which have nothing to do with the games but only with personal issues towards WII games.

FFCC I haven't played much, but Lost Winds deserves a hell lot more than 5.5 and should be called at least to be "good".

I was just over at the Gamespot system wars forums.

 

They are all hating...on Gamespot. They call the reviews "The worse reviews gamespot every wrote," lol, and this is from a notoriously anti-Wii forum.

 

So take it with a grain of salt.

It seems like they let someone review Lost Winds that has little experience with the Wii controls. Noone else has complained about it.

There has been a lot of stupid complains about Wii controls by people who don't play the Wii often and/or don't like the Wii. Then use it to give games a bad score. That's like my mother trying to play a racer with analog stick and then bad rating the controls because she can't get the grip on it. Retarded.

Maybe Gamespot doesn't account for price?

Or they just got a cranky reveiwer who was pissed he got pulled away from Mariokart Wii/GTA4

Gamespot reviews shouldn't be taken seriously. A 5 years old blind kid would have more objectivity when reviewing a game than they do.

I've lost interest with GameSpot long ago and through what I've read, those two reviewers are begging to leave from GameSpot.

Both, LostWinds and FFCC are good games.

I am not sure I have ever read a GameSpot review I have agreed with. I use the site for bits of info but find IGN a better place for both reviews & info.

At the end of the day I don't use reviews at all to decide if a game is good or bad I read them to try and work out how the game plays and if it has the elements in that I like or might like. Then I get it and make my own mind up. If it's really bad I can always exchange it, but it rarely is that bad.
