I don't think the whole userbase is wii fit fans,or casuals. Most of it is. I would guess around 75%, but there are still hardcore nintendo fans, and new people who barely play games, but play games that fit the hardcore. 3rd parties rely to much on 1st parties to advertise their games. Nintendo doesn't do that , and they have to do that themeselves.

The problem kingofwale is that when this game sells badly it'll be blamed purely because "core 3rd party games don't sell on the Wii" when these niche games couldn't sell on the PS2.

Honestly I could care less how it sells. Frikkin awesome artsy game always sell bad to mediocre but it doesn't mean they don't rock. Team ICO games sell like crap, but are fantastic. Suda 51's games never make the top 10 in sales, but they are brilliant. Okami and Viewtiful Joe may not have been commercial hits, but the gamers know that they are gold. Who gives a rats ass how this game will sell, as long as it lives up to it's potential?

 We all know this game won't sell, it's too niche for just about anybody. You will probably love it, I know I will love it.

 Yes, haters will definitely use that excuse, but why isn't this game also being ported to PS2 or PSP? Then that way, there won't be anybody complaining about it.

 Making a core game for Wii exclusive just doesn't really make sense to me, much like a FPS game exclusive for PS3... Haze anyone?

Also anybody else worries that it will get AO rating and therefore unable to release until it gets Manhunt treatment?? Man, I would hate to see Thompson's face on that day

Well I agree games like this tend to be awesome but sell poorly. I'm glad PlatinumGames keeps making them though.
